Ultimate Big Bend Hike
A new contender in the Hardest Thing I've Ever Done contest. On Monday, March 7, photographer Laurence Parent, four other folks and me completed a six day Walk Across the Big Bend, transecting the national park from Rio Grande Village to Lajitas on foot.It was difficult, dangerous, wearying, exhausting, and painful. And a whole lot of fun.
I'm writing up a detailed report for Texas Parks & Wildlife magazine. We might take a little slide show on the road too.
